Just over halfway through the Fantasy Football season, the NFL is exciting as ever, with rules this year encouraging a heavy passing game and booming production from offenses. Poised for another strong week against a weak Jets defense is Mitch Trubisky, who has scored over 25 points his last three weeks and is coming off a 31.4 point performance against the Patriots in week 7. Another boom candidate for week 8 is Eric Ebron, who is facing a favorable matchup against the Oakland Raiders this week and has been a top target for Andrew Luck in the red zone this year, with 6 touchdown receptions this year. In a weak year for tight ends, Ebron is strong TE1 that is being rapidly picked up in leagues. Following a 88 point performance against the Panthers in week 7, Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery may take a step back in week 8 against the number two ranked defense in the league, the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jeffery will have a tough individual matchup vs one of the league’s best cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey. Another bust on the defensive side could be the Buffalo Bills, who are taking on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Following a dissapointing performance against Indianapolis after back to back strong weeks, the Bills could continue their slump against a top ten offense in New England that is expecting Rob Gronkowski to return.
