Sacred Heart Prep alumnus Tierna Davidson, a Stanford and USA women’s national soccer team defender, recently broke her ankle in an eventual win over the UNC Tarheels on Sunday, September 9th. Davidson, who was a member of the SHP Class of 2016, fractured her ankle in the first half of the game, which later went into overtime and resulted in a 2-1 win for the Cardinal. Her absence from the field will also affect the USA Team, as she will miss the World Cup qualifier in October. Also on the USA team is Abby Dahlkemper, SHP Class of 2011, and a UCLA alumnus that helped the Bruins win a NCAA Championship in 2013. Hopefully Davidson can recover quickly and return to the field.
