Victoria Garrick Carries her Volleyball Success Past SHP

This past weekend, SHP alum Victoria Garrick visited the Bay Area to take on the Stanford
Cardinal and Cal Bears Women’s Volleyball Team. She’s in her senior season at USC and is the
starting libero for the 13 th seeded Trojans. The game with Stanford was a close contest in the
first two sets, with Stanford taking both sets 25-21 and 25-22. Stanford swept through the final
set 25-15 and swept the Trojans 3-0. Garrick logged 3 assists and led the Trojans with 12 digs,
but the 2 nd seeded Cardinal was too much for the Trojans to handle. Stanford moved on to
become 12-1 and 4-0 in the Pac-12. The Women of Troy then moved south to take on Berkley.
USC beat Cal in a 4-set thriller, with them barely surviving the 4 th set 28-26. Again, Garrick led
the Trojans with 18 digs, while also dishing out 4 assists. The Women of Troy moved on to
become 11-4 and 3-1 in the Pac-12. So far this season, Garrick has appeared in all 57 sets, while
dishing 63 assists, serving 14 aces and logging 265 digs so far this season.
