On Saturday the 19th a group of students traveled to New Orleans for the Sacred Heart immersion program.

They built houses for those who’ve lost their home from Katrina – and they did it all: from tiling floors, painting window sills, grouting tile, nailing shoe and baseboard, and of course caulking and puttying.

When they weren’t building houses, they took a day to tour the French Quarter and visit the Sacred Heart school in New Orleans.

The SHP immersion program is an perfect way to give back to our community and make new friends like everyone in NOLA!
