SHP boys varsity water polo team repeats as WCAL and CCS Division II champions! SHP boys varsity water polo team finished another terrific season by claiming both the WCAL and CCS Division II championships. They are widely regarded as the #1 boys team in Northern California and one of the top teams in the country, the team finished with and overall record of 23-6 and were 6-0 in league play. Led by Coach Brian Kreutzkamp and assistant coach Jamie Frank, the teams Central Coast Section title was its sixth in a row and its ninth in ten years. They absolutely dominated menlo in the ccs finals, leading by 5 goals in the 4th quarter, and winning 13-9. Some huge contributors were Larsen Weigle, Andrew Churukian, who scored several goals each, and senior CJ Box, with a clutch goal. The so called “Wonder Twins” Christopher Rowland and Alex Tsotdaze had exceptional games as well while leading the Gator’s offense. Senior goalie John Claude Marco made many saves on the way to the win, while Jackson Enright, also a senior, played very well as well.
